 The Eng Sheng Group of Companies (Eng Sheng) is a Malaysian company established in 1982. Through hard work, perseverance and resilience, Eng Sheng has developed from a humble provision pre-war shophouse in whole sales zone in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, to become one of Asia’s leading agricultural importers and exporters.
Today, Eng Sheng's headquarters is located in Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. This is a strategic location which is aimed to enable the firm to better serve and continue to provide world-class agricultural products to both its local and global customers.
Eng Sheng also has a branch in Selayang Light Industries Estate, in the North of Kuala Lumpur, and Bintulu, which is located in East Malaysia. Together with Eng Sheng China, the firm has a combined 600,000 sq ft of warehousing and chill storage facilities.
Eng Sheng’s main business activities are importation and exportation, whole selling, distribution to hypermarkets and supermarkets, retail chains and food manufacturing. Eng Sheng has an import capacity of 50,000MT per year from Asia, Europe and the Middle East, even as far as North America and South America.
For Eng Sheng’s agro-food importation, its overseas counterparts in China and India have received many ‘Top Exporter’ awards from the respective Governments.
At present, Eng Sheng has a combined global distribution network for agricultural products, which include fresh produce of onions, garlic, potatoes, dried chillies, and various beans and spices for its regional South East Asian markets, such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. |
